This is the General Theory of Societal Domains Collaborative Workspace, or from now on we’ll just call it the GTOSD Workspace. This is where we will explore the building blocks of our societies. We will seek to uncover exactly what those building blocks are, how they interact, and how they allow us to better build our individual societies and cultures. For right now we have one important goal, and that is to put in the hard work of helping expose The Structure that these domains create. As we advance our work, we will take on the more complex tasks of how individual cultures organize themselves on top of this structural foundation and, even more importantly, how better knowing the foundational elements of The Structure will allow individuals and groups within each culture to exercise their agency more effectively. We must never forget that our ultimate mission is to help those groups and individuals who often find themselves marginalized within our societies to compete within systems that have been dominated by those who exert their own agency more effectively. Basically, we are going to do the hard work so others can have the chance of living their lives more easily.

This workspace will evolve as we do our work, so be patient with its appearance and function as we grow. For now, it will be important to go to the Tutorials page and get an understanding of the theory and the work that needs to be done. To supplement our efforts you will find more formalized documents, presentations, posters, and the like posted in the Library. You will be able to Contact Us with any questions or comments you may have through the online form and I hope to post answers to those questions, as well as any thoughts or ideas that are percolating, in the Blog.
